Instructions
Add ingredients to the jar
Add all ingredients to a Mason jar, starting with the vinegar, water, and lemon juice, followed by olive oil, parmesan, herbs, and black pepper.
Seal and shake
Secure the lid tightly and shake for 20–30 seconds until the dressing is well combined and slightly creamy.
Taste and adjust
Taste and adjust seasoning as needed. Add more pepper for spice, a pinch of salt if desired, or a splash of water to thin the dressing.
Let flavors meld
For best flavor, let the dressing sit for 10–15 minutes before using to allow the dried herbs to hydrate.
Notes
Store homemade Italian dressing in the refrigerator for up to 1 week. Shake well before each use—separation is normal.
