Homemade Sourdough Croutons

Delicious crunchy homemade croutons, EASY!

Ingredients

  • 1 loaf Sourdough Bread
  • 3 Tbsp Melted Butter
  • 6 Tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp Italian Seasoning
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350
  • Using a bread knife cut up entire loaf of bread into desired pieces. Try to keep pieces uniform so they toast at the same rate.
  • Add bread pieces to large bowl. Drizzle butter and olive oil over bread. Add spices and salt and toss. You may sub spices and flavorings! This is just a basic starting point.
  • Spread evenly in one layer onto baking sheet. I used two baking sheets for one loaf of bread.
  • Bake at 350 12 min and stir. Bake another 12 and check for crispiness. Mine took about 35min total.
